Tunisia.- Tunisian game developer Amilcar Technologies<\/strong> has launched its action game, HeistFest<\/strong>, on Steam Early Access<\/strong>, marking a major step onto the global stage for the country\u2019s independent game industry<\/strong>. The game, released on October 21, casts players in the role of a wanted criminal racing<\/strong> against the clock while evading police officers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HeistFest features a retro black-and-white aesthetic inspired by locations such as Italy and Egypt<\/strong>. The game uses a physics-based driving system<\/strong>, allowing players to improvise their escapes, unlock vehicles and build custom power-ups. Procedurally escalating challenges ensure varied and replayable gameplay<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Games Industry Africa (GIA) said: \u201cHeistFest throws players into the role of a wanted criminal racing against time and law enforcement in a sprawling, destructible hand-drawn cityscape.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
