The inspection is aimed at ensuring <strong>compliance<\/strong> with regulatory standards and promoting <strong>job creation<\/strong> ahead of the highly anticipated November launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lottery project includes a <strong>$2.5m investment<\/strong> in modern draw machines, secure ticketing systems and a high-tech facility designed to ensure transparency, efficiency and fairness. While initial findings indicate that Blue Star meets several basic requirements, the NLA described the visit as \u201cpartial\u201d, with a <strong>full assessment <\/strong>pending the arrival of Director General Peter Solo, who is currently out of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Driving jobs and responsible gaming<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The inspection had a <strong>dual focus<\/strong>, according to Fahnbulleh. He said: &#8220;We are not just here to inspect for compliance, we are also looking at how these operations will contribute to the <strong>local economy<\/strong> by providing decent jobs for our people, especially the youth.\u201d He added that the NLA is committed to ensuring licensed gaming facilities support the <strong>broader community<\/strong> and go beyond revenue generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Blue Star CEO, <strong>Clement Sarpong<\/strong>, welcomed the inspection and underscored the company\u2019s commitment to local communities. \u201cSeveral Liberians are currently employed at the venue in various roles. However, more can still be done to deepen community impact,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Lotto Games Prince Suah urged Blue Star management to remain vigilant in preventing underage participation, safeguarding the<strong> integrity<\/strong> and social responsibility of the lottery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Players will be able to select five numbers from a pool of <strong>1 to 90<\/strong>, with prizes awarded based on how many numbers match the winning draw.
