As part of Customer Service Month, NLA energises its employees, linking staff wellness to operational excellence and enhanced lottery services nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Ghana.- The National Lottery Authority (NLA) <\/strong>energised its staff with a “Health Walk and clean-up exercise\u201d as part of its Customer Service month<\/strong> celebrations. The initiative aimed to keep employees fit, motivated and ready to deliver top-quality service<\/strong> to lottery players nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event on October 11, led by Director-General Mohamed Abdul-Salam<\/strong>, Deputy Director-General Eric Yeboah Wadie, and other senior managers, highlighted the connection between employee wellness and operational excellence. Participants marched through the city of Accra to \u201cmusic, laughter and dancing\u201d before joining a professional-led aerobics session<\/strong> at NLA headquarters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NLA said: \u201cGuided by the belief that \u2018the health of staff<\/strong> is the wealth of an organisation\u2019, this initiative aimed to encourage wellness, foster team spirit and energise staff to continue delivering excellent service to customers<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Authority has emphasised that physical fitness is essential to fulfilling its core operations<\/strong>. Staff are directly involved in conducting lottery draws<\/strong>, including major games such as the 5\/90<\/strong>, the Monday Special and the National Weekly Lotto<\/strong>. Remaining alert enables employees to manage draws seamlessly, verify results and provide dependable service<\/strong> to players<\/strong> across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond managing lottery games, the NLA oversees licensed operators<\/strong>, ensures fair and transparent operations<\/strong> and promotes responsible gaming. It also generates revenue <\/strong>for social and development projects and channels proceeds into community initiatives through its Good Causes Foundation<\/strong>. These include healthcare, education, youth and sports development, and cultural projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Authority has embraced digital platforms<\/strong> like Websales and the 959# shortcode, making lottery participation more convenient and accessible to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Health Walk offered staff a chance to recharge, build team spirit and stay alert, preparing them to carry out daily operations<\/strong> efficiently. The morning concluded with healthy meals and fresh fruits, reinforcing the Authority\u2019s commitment to holistic staff well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n
