The momentum continues later this month with the Orange FC Championship 2025, scheduled for October 25-26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Backed by telecom giant <strong>Orange Guinea<\/strong>, the event will crown the nation\u2019s best EA FC 26 player, who will go on to represent Guinea at the regional grand final in Morocco, facing champions from 16 other Orange subsidiaries across Africa and the Middle East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Africa\u2019s video game market reached<strong> $1.8bn in 2024<\/strong>, up 12.4 per cent from the previous year, compared with a global growth rate of just 2.1 per cent, according to a report by Carry1st. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With its new federation, Guinea is positioning itself to capture part of that momentum, turning gaming from a pastime into a <strong>platform for innovation<\/strong>, creativity and economic advancement.
