Nigeria.- Nigeria\u2019s esports<\/strong> team FowlPlay<\/strong> stormed to victory in the PUBG Mobile<\/strong> (PlayerUnknown\u2019s Battlegrounds Mobile) finals, defeating Senegal<\/strong> in a thrilling showdown at the AFROWEST Esports Games 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The online tournament, held from September 25 to 28, 2025, brought together top players from 12 West African countries<\/strong>– Nigeria, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Togo, Mali, Burkina Faso, Guinea, The Gambia, Mauritania, Benin, Ghana and Liberia – to compete for a $3,000 prize pool (\u20ac2,770), highlighting the region\u2019s growing esports scene<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organised by the African Confederation of Electronic Sports (ACES), AFROWEST 2025 featured five major titles,<\/strong> including Mobile Legends (MLBB) and FIFA Mobile, giving gamers a continental platform to showcase their talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FowlPlay dominated the finals<\/strong> with 64 Play of the Play points (PP), 55 eliminations and 109 Teleport moves (TP), demonstrating exceptional coordination and precision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
