C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire\u2019s national lottery kicks off TCE 2025, with updated prizes and social initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire.- The National Lottery of C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire (LONACI)<\/strong> has launched the Tranche Commune Entente (TCE) 2025<\/strong>, a cross-border lottery initiative<\/strong> that brings together the national lotteries of Benin, Burkina Faso, C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, Niger and Togo, serving as a regional platform for solidarity and social impact<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official launch<\/strong> took place on October 6, at LONACI Studios in Abidjan, attended by partners and sector stakeholders. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The TCE 2025 introduced several updates<\/strong>: the scratch ticket has been moved to Lotto 5\/90, the grand prize <\/strong>has been doubled<\/strong> from 10m FCFA (\u20ac15,000) to FCFA20m (\u20ac30,000) and the social contribution<\/strong> for community projects has been increased to FCFA125m (\u20ac190,000).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tickets are sold at FCFA500 (\u20ac0.75)<\/strong> for special draws held on Tuesdays 7, 14 and 21 October 2025, conducted via Emergence and Noon Rush Loto Bonheur (Lucky Lottery). During each draw, ten winning tickets will be picked under the supervision<\/strong> of a Justice Commissioner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ma\u00efmouna Traor\u00e9<\/strong>, Product Manager for Loto Bonheur (Lucky Lottery) at LONACI,<\/strong> said according to Abidjan.net: “The four first winners of each draw will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Lom\u00e9<\/strong> to participate in the super draw, while the nine other winners will receive intermediate prizes. This concept of game aims to strengthen solidarity<\/strong> among the Council of the Entente member states through social actions.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each year, the host country benefits from a social project<\/strong> offered by the combined national lotteries of the Council of the Entente, according to Traor\u00e9. She added: “After the health centre<\/strong> was built in Cotonou in 2024, this year the social project will benefit Lom\u00e9, the capital of Togo.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The grand draw<\/strong> will take place on November 28, 2025, in Lom\u00e9, which sits on the southern coast along the Gulf of Guinea, near the border with Ghana, and serves as the country\u2019s administrative, economic and cultural hub<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceremony was presided over by Check Diarra<\/strong>, LONACI’s Director of Marketing and Customer Experience, representing General Manager Dramane Coulibaly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking on behalf of LONACI\u2019s general management<\/strong>, Diarra emphasised the enduring social impact of the initiative, with host countries consistently receiving support<\/strong> from all the national lotteries. He said: “In C\u00f4te d’Ivoire, in 2016 we benefited from a health centre with accommodation in the department of Bouafl\u00e9 and in 2021, it was a health centre in Abobo.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The TCE demonstrates how African lotteries are combining entertainment with social development<\/strong>, enabling players to participate in cross-border games while supporting projects that improve healthcare, education and infrastructure<\/strong> across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By uniting national lotteries, the TCE underscores how regional cooperation <\/strong>can drive economic empowerment and social progress in West Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n
