Botswana.- The Botswana Gambling Authority (BGA)<\/strong> took centre stage at the Run Gabz By Night Marathon<\/strong>, earning government praise<\/strong> while announcing upcoming gambling licensing opportunities and promoting safe gaming. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The country’s first night race, held on October 4, drew hundreds of participants, giving the Authority a prominent platform to connect with the public and industry stakeholders<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At its stall, the BGA highlighted its mandate, outlined the forthcoming licences<\/strong>, and promoted the Responsible Gambling Self-help Portal,<\/strong> accessible online and via USSD code *228#<\/strong>. The BGA said: \u201cThe Botswana gambling industry is committed to being diversified, compliant and safe for all players and operators<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minister of Sports, Hon. Jacob Kelebeng<\/strong>, visited the stall and met with staff, praising their efforts and “emphasising the government\u2019s support<\/strong> for responsible gambling and the growth of licensed gaming in Botswana”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
