Women in Nigeria Gaming Network backs Gamble Alert symposium

WiNG joins growing list of gaming stakeholders supporting the Responsible Gaming Symposium 2026 in Lagos, Nigeria.

Nigeria.- Women in Nigeria Gaming Network (WiNG) has partnered with Gamble Alert as a strategic supporter of the Responsible Gaming Symposium 2026, strengthening industry support for player protection and responsible gambling standards.

Announcing the partnership on LinkedIn, WiNG said the symposium would serve as “a key platform for advancing responsible gaming practices, strengthening player protection, and driving accountability across the gaming industry in Africa.” The organisation added that the partnership would support wider industry conversations aimed at promoting “a more sustainable and responsible gaming ecosystem.”

The symposium is scheduled to take place on June 11 at the D’Podium International Event Centre in Ikeja, Lagos, under the theme: “Building Accountability: Strengthening Africa’s Model for Player Protection.”

Organised by Gamble Alert, the event is expected to bring together regulators, operators, policymakers and industry stakeholders to discuss addiction prevention, fraud prevention, player safeguarding and regulatory standards as gaming markets continue to expand across the continent.

The programme will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops and networking sessions focused on strengthening responsible gaming frameworks and consumer protection measures.

The development follows earlier confirmation that the Association of Gaming Operators Kenya (AGOK) would also participate in the symposium’s wider policy and responsible gaming discussions, reinforcing the event’s growing regional focus.

Other organisations backing the initiative include the African iGaming Alliance, positioning the symposium as an increasingly influential forum for gambling regulation and player protection discussions in Africa.
