According to figures recently released by the casino, a total of 979 guests claimed winnings over the period, 265 of which were more than R50,000 (€2,400), while the largest individual prize amounted to R304,600 (€14,600).
The payout surge was driven by the casino’s festive season activities, including the December Festive Fortune promotion, which awarded players an additional R340,000 (€16,300) in cash. The operator said the combination of big jackpots and seasonal prizes helped create memorable experiences for hundreds of visitors over the holiday period.
General Manager Johan Oosthuizen described the results as a testament to Windmill Casino’s commitment to providing both entertainment and real chances to win. He noted that the impressive payout figures show that “real people really win” at the venue.
Windmill has launched a new promotional campaign called Heatwave Craze to maintain momentum in January and February, offering weekly cash giveaways to players.
