Why true local insight unlocks West Africa. Meet WINWIN Partners at SBWA+ and GEFA 2026 in Senegal

Press release.- For years, international iGaming discussions around Africa focused almost entirely on two English-speaking markets: Nigeria and Kenya. While these territories remain significant, they are now heavily saturated. Marketing costs have risen sharply, competition is intense, and acquiring sustainable traffic has become increasingly difficult.

Meanwhile, French-speaking Africa has emerged as one of the fastest-growing and most reliable regions in the sector. Across countries such as Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Benin, Burkina Faso, and the Republic of the Congo, digital infrastructure is expanding rapidly. Millions of sports fans now use mobile internet daily, follow domestic and European football closely, and actively place bets online. Yet, relatively few international operators have developed products tailored to their actual needs.

For WINWIN Partners, Africa is not a secondary testing ground; it is our primary market. Building on our partner network across the continent, in 2025 we launched a dedicated brand created specifically for the African market – GoldPari. This step allowed us to align our product directly with regional player habits and mobile infrastructure. Meanwhile, WinWin Bet serves as our global product, offering players worldwide a fast, reliable sportsbook and casino experience.

Our operational experience on the ground highlights three essential factors for commercial success in Francophone Africa:

First, local payment integration. Traditional bank cards play almost no role in online transactions. The market runs on mobile money networks such as Wave, Orange Money, and MTN. Without smooth integration with these services, user retention remains low.

Second, technology must remain lightweight. Many users connect via budget smartphones and manage data packages carefully. Platforms must load instantly, use minimal bandwidth, and feature simple French-language interfaces.

Third, business here is built on direct relationships. Affiliates, media buyers, and webmasters value transparent tracking, prompt communication, and reliable local support over remote account management.

To strengthen our regional commitment, WINWIN Partners confirms its official participation in two major industry events held concurrently in Dakar, Senegal: the 11th annual Sports Betting West Africa+ Summit (SBWA+) and the 2nd annual Gaming Event Francophone Africa (GEFA

2026). The co-located summits will take place from 14 to 16 October 2026 at the King Fahd Palace Hôtel.

While SBWA+ covers the broader West African landscape, GEFA provides an intensive focus on the Francophone ecosystem. It brings together regional regulators, state lotteries, fintech providers, and operators. Together, these events represent a platform for market expansion and regulatory dialogue in the region.

WINWIN Partners will be represented on site by Wilfrid Olemba, Local Sales Manager. Working daily with media partners and webmasters across Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, and neighbouring countries, Wilfrid will share his practical experience and expertise with attendees.

During both conferences, Wilfrid will be available to discuss:

  • Commercial models, including competitive CPA and RevShare commission frameworks
  • Integrating local mobile money solutions to improve conversion and player lifetime value
  • High-performing traffic sources across key Francophone GEOs
  • Long-term collaboration strategies connected with our brand

Francophone Africa offers exceptional potential for businesses that take a localised approach. We look forward to connecting with operators, affiliates, and industry stakeholders in Dakar.
