Ghana.- PrideSpins has partnered with Football Impact Africa and Anti-Doping Community Ghana to host a community football tournament in Teshie. The event, held at TEPS Park on September 27, 2025, used sports as a catalyst to unite people and educate them on vital issues like drug abuse, responsible gaming and financial inclusion.
The day began with the Ghetto Love & FinPower Players Workshop, where Prince Emekor Azanu, Officer In charge at the Ghana National Anti-Doping Committee, informed attendees about the risks of using drugs to enhance sports performance, stressing the importance of discipline and fair play for young athletes.
Players and spectators were also taken through a financial literacy session by Anita Nadia Attah, Director of FinPower and Football Impact Africa. Attah urged athletes to adopt disciplined financial habits to ensure long-term stability and success beyond their sports careers.
Eight teams, including Jamboree, More Time, Sealady Stars, Salem Stars, Aliciod Boys, Gonnor Skull and So Events Stars, competed in the tournament. At the end of the competition, Salem Stars took home the championship title, So Events Stars put up a strong fight to secure second place and More Time Stars claimed third place thanks to their exceptional striker, Enoch Laryea Sowah, who received the Top Scorer award.
PrideSpins rewarded the winners with cash prizes and branded souvenirs, and also gave away television sets, headsets and soundbars to community members via raffle draws.
