Premier Bet sponsors Independence Day concert in Malawi
The initiative supports the company’s community engagement approach.
Malawi.- Premier Bet Malawi has committed K10m (€4,973) to sponsor an Independence Day music concert set for July 4, 2026, in Lilongwe.
The funding will support the inaugural Independence Show, organised by Gunde Media and scheduled to take place at Waka Waka Hotel in the capital.
Organisers said the concert will feature performances from several local artists, including Black Missionaries, Anthony Makondetsa, Zembani Band, Temwah, Loiso and Crispy Malawi. They added that the show is part of Independence Day celebrations and is designed to promote local music talent while engaging fans through live performances.
The sponsorship reflects Premier Bet Malawi’s strategy to increase brand visibility through cultural events. By supporting high-profile national events, the operator positions itself in front of large live and media audiences while aligning its brand with national celebrations and local creative industries.
According to Edson Kunkeyani, Premier Bet assistant community manager, the initiative also supports the company’s community engagement approach, which includes investment in local talent and programmes that promote national identity.
