Premier Bet Malawi enters music scene with Doc Live concert sponsorship

From betting to beats, Premier Bet taps into Malawi’s music scene with the Doc Live concert featuring Patience Namadingo.

Malawi.- In a groundbreaking move that blends betting with beats, Premier Bet Malawi has joined forces with Classic Events and DJ Kenny Entertainment as the main sponsor of the highly anticipated Doc Live concert, set to take place this Saturday, May 31, at Scallas Café in Blantyre.

The event, headlined by beloved singer-guitarist Patience Namadingo, marks a bold leap for the betting company as it expands its reach beyond the sportsbook and into the soul of Malawi’s cultural heartbeat.

This move isn’t just about branding, it’s about breaking barriers between different industries.

“Visibility is the biggest key for every company and we want to make sure our presence is felt at this show. We will make sure the stage and the VIP section are well decorated to add colour to this beautiful event,” Hamza Mgaye, Premier Bet Malawi’s Community Manager, told the Times Group Malawi.

As the main sponsor, Premier Bet will stamp its identity across the main stage and VIP section, transforming the venue into a vibrant fusion of entertainment and engagement.

But the sponsorship isn’t just a branding exercise, it’s part of a bigger push by the company to support and empower Malawi’s creative sector.

“We need to understand what our customers need and also use the same opportunity to tell them our new promotions. Through this show, we want them to have a live experience of our Navigator game as we thrive to promote responsible gambling,” Mgaye added.

Navigator is a crash gambling game similar to Aviator. People can place their bets before the plane takes off, and cash out before it flies off.

The partnership has been welcomed by Classic Events Manager Edison Kawalala, who sees the collaboration as a perfect harmony.

“We are looking forward to giving people another experience with Patience Namadingo. So, we are happy to have Premier Bet on board,” Kawalala said.

In response to public demand, DJ Kenny Entertainment Director Kennedy Maluwa announced a surprise addition to the line-up, fan-favourite Saint Realest.

“A lot of people had been pressuring us to include him, the outcry was getting too loud and it was impossible to ignore it,” Maluwa said.

The high-energy night will also feature performances by DJs Zulu, Mighty Virus and Flame, promising an unforgettable show that signals a new era of synergy between entertainment and enterprise.
