Premier Bet Malawi backs Love and Vibes concert in Blantyre
The sponsorship reflects a broader industry strategy that blends brand visibility with cultural engagement.
Malawi.- Premier Bet Malawi is deepening the connection between Malawi’s gambling industry and the creative sector through its sponsorship of the Love and Vibes concert, set for February 14 at the Sunbird Mount Soche Hotel in Blantyre. The Valentine’s day show is being organised by Classic Event in partnership with DJ Kenny and will feature a mix of leading local music acts.
Premier Bet’s Community Manager, Hamza Mgaye, said the company was pleased to come on board as the official sponsor, citing a strong working relationship with the organisers. He noted: “We are excited to come in as the official sponsor with Classic Event and DJ Kenny. Our past experience with them has been smooth and fruitful.”
For the betting company, the sponsorship reflects a broader industry strategy that blends brand visibility with cultural engagement. Over the past two years, the company has consistently backed music concerts and sports events as a way of strengthening customer engagement while solidifying its foothold in Malawi’s gambling market.
Mgaye said the company’s involvement in Love and Vibes aligns with its marketing and customer outreach efforts, stating: “We want to maintain strong brand visibility because this is a big show. This is also part of reminding our customers about the car raffle draw grand finale set to take place in December, and we plan to do some exciting giveaways during the show.”
Classic Event’s Edson Kawalala welcomed the betting firm’s involvement, describing it as key to delivering a memorable Valentine’s experience. Kawalala said: “We just had to do something on Valentine’s Day. This is part of our celebration of love, which is why we have curated the event with special artists who will perform unforgettable selections of love songs.”
