PMU‑Mali launches live horse-race betting outlet
New outlet enhances access to live horse-race betting and modernises Mali’s wagering scene.
Mali.- PMU‑Mali has opened a new live horse-race betting outlet, bringing real-time wagering closer to local punters. The venue features five counters, including a VIP station, allowing bettors to watch the races live and collect winnings “with ease”.
PMU‑Mali (The Urban Mutual Betting Company of Mali) is the country’s top operator of horse-race wagering and lottery games. The new outlet in the suburb of Sénou strengthens its retail presence and provides local punters with convenient access to live betting.
PMU‑Mali said: “Under the leadership of Diarra Traoré, several key initiatives have been undertaken to improve accessibility of services, enhance customer experience and increase revenue through the opening of strategic points like the one in Sénou.”
The operator added: “This new agency is designed to offer optimal comfort for clients and attract both casual and experienced bettors.”
2025 has been a strong year for PMU‑Mali. From January through April, the operator distributed more than FCFA24bn (€20.9m) in winnings, creating 1,139 new millionaires. In April alone, payouts exceeded FCFA5.6bn (€4.87m), with the largest single prize reaching FCFA40.5m (€35,200).
