NLC temporarily closes Mpumalanga provincial office for maintenance

Staff based at the Mpumalanga office will work remotely and remain accessible via email.

South Africa.- The National Lotteries Commission (NLC) has temporarily closed its Mpumalanga provincial office to carry out essential upgrades and maintenance aimed at improving the facility. The closure, which took effect on Friday, March 13, will remain in place until Monday, March 30.

The NLC noted in a statement that during the shutdown, construction, repainting and waterproofing works will be carried out at the office building. Staff based at the Mpumalanga office will work remotely and remain accessible via email.

The procurement for the refurbishment of the Nelspruit office was initiated through a Request for Quotation (RFQ) published in late 2025, which invited qualified contractors to tender for construction, repainting and waterproofing works at the provincial facility.

The upgrade aligns with ongoing efforts to maintain safety and operational standards across all provincial offices. The NLC apologises for any inconvenience caused and assures that services will resume promptly once the upgrade works are completed.
