Nigeria’s Bet9ja launches UEFA Champions League final watch party
Arsenal vs PSG showdown to headline Lagos fan event as Bet9ja expands Champions Party campaign across Nigeria.
Nigeria.- Nigeria’s betting giant Bet9ja has partnered with youth culture and live-events brand Mainland BlockParty to host a UEFA Champions League final watch party in Lagos ahead of Arsenal’s clash against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in Budapest.
The companies are set to stage the “Bet9ja Champions Watch Party” on May 30 at the Ikeja City Mall Car Park. The event is scheduled to run from 1pm to 9pm West Africa Time, with organisers planning live entertainment, DJs, games, fan activations and a live screening of the UEFA Champions League final.
Bet9ja and Mainland BlockParty described the activation as Lagos’ “biggest Champions League final watch party”. In a social media post, organisers said the event would deliver the “ultimate Arsenal vs PSG final experience” for football fans in Lagos.
The 2026 UEFA Champions League final will take place at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest, Hungary. Arsenal are seeking their first Champions League title, while PSG are aiming to retain the trophy after winning the competition in 2025. Arsenal reached the final after defeating Atlético Madrid 2-1 on aggregate in the semi-finals, while PSG overcame Bayern Munich 6-5 across two legs.
Bet9ja offers sportsbook betting, live betting, virtual sports and online casino products through its online platform. The Lagos activation forms part of a wider Champions Party campaign by Bet9ja, with the operator also promoting additional UEFA Champions League final viewing events in cities including Owerri ahead of the Arsenal-PSG final.
