Niger announces dates for 31st cross-border TCE lottery
The regional lottery will bring together five national lotteries in Niamey, with prizes reaching FCFA20m (US$34,700).
Niger.- The 31st Tranche Commune Entente (TCE) lottery dates have been announced, with the cross-border lottery set to take place in Niamey, Niger, from November 22 to 29, 2026. The TCE involves the national lotteries of Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Niger and Togo, with Niger hosting this year’s edition.
The announcement was made in a press communiqué from Burkina Faso National Lottery (LONAB). The event will feature prizes reaching FCFA20m (US$34,700), while selected participants can also win an all-expenses-paid trip to Niamey.
The 2026 edition follows Togo’s hosting of the 2025 TCE, which brought the five national lotteries together for the cross-border draw in Lomé. The 2025 edition culminated with Côte d’Ivoire’s Koffi N’guessan winning the FCFA20m (US$30,000) jackpot.
The 2026 TCE has two prize tracks, with the National Harmonised Programme covering the wider pool of winners and the Regional Extraordinary Programme reserved for the top qualifiers.
The National Harmonised Programme has prizes of FCFA100,000 (US$174) to FCFA500,000 (US$868). The Regional Extraordinary Programme has prizes ranging from FCFA2m (US$3,500) to FCFA20m (US$34,700).
In Burkina Faso, the qualifying route runs through four Faso Loto draws on October 7, 14, 21 and 28, 2026. The minimum stake is FCFA500 (US$0.87), with 10 winners selected from each draw. The first winner from each draw will qualify for the Regional Extraordinary Programme, while the other nine winners will enter the National Harmonised Programme.
Players have been advised to keep their physical or digital tickets and, when placing physical bets, register their telephone numbers.
