Operator also retains WLA Level 4 recognition and renews its CSR label following EL Industry Days 2026.

Morocco.- Morocco’s National Lottery has strengthened its responsible gaming credentials after securing the European Lotteries (EL) Responsible Gaming Certification for the fifth consecutive time, while also retaining the World Lottery Association’s (WLA) Level 4 Responsible Gaming recognition and renewing its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Label.

The lottery announced the achievements on June 29, following the official Responsible Gaming certification ceremony held as part of the recent EL Industry Days 2026 in Marrakech, Morocco.

According to Morocco’s National Lottery, it received dual international Responsible Gaming recognition during the official certification ceremony, where it was awarded the European Lotteries Responsible Gaming Certification for the fifth consecutive time and received confirmation of its WLA Level 4 Responsible Gaming recognition, the highest level under the World Lottery Association’s Responsible Gaming Framework.

Morocco’s National Lottery said: “This double distinction comes to recognise the National Lottery’s constant commitment to player protection, the prevention of risky behaviours and the promotion of responsible gaming, in accordance with the highest international standards.”

The EL Industry Days 2026, hosted by Morocco’s National Lottery from June 7 to 10 under the theme “Lotteries Bridging Continents,” brought together lottery executives and regulators to discuss innovation, responsible gaming and international cooperation.

The 2026 edition was organised with the support of the African Lotteries Association (ALA), highlighting efforts to strengthen collaboration between lottery organisations across continents and promote the sustainable development of the global lottery industry.

CSR label renewed

The lottery also announced that the National Lottery Management Company (SGLN), which operates Morocco’s National Lottery, renewed its CSR Label from the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) on June 16 during the organisation’s official awards ceremony.

Awarded following a rigorous assessment process, the label recognises organisations that embed CSR into their strategy, governance and operations.

According to SGLN, the renewal reflects the organisation’s commitment to balancing economic performance with positive social impact, environmental responsibility and strong corporate governance. It also reinforces initiatives centred on ethics, transparency, inclusion and sustainable development.

The lottery said that hosting the EL Industry Days 2026, securing its dual Responsible Gaming recognition and renewing its CSR Label reaffirmed its position as a responsible lottery operator committed to building an ethical, sustainable and socially impactful gaming industry.

Independent confirmation of the EL Responsible Gaming Certification was also provided by The European Lotteries, which listed Morocco’s National Lottery among the lottery operators recognised during the official Responsible Gaming certification ceremony held as part of the EL Industry Days 2026.
