The platform brings gamers, developers and content creators together, offering a hub for collaboration, news and industry events.
Morocco.- The Morocco Gaming Industry (MGI) has launched an official Discord server to strengthen the country’s gaming and esports ecosystem. The platform provides a dedicated space for gamers, developers, content creators and entrepreneurs to connect, share ideas and collaborate.
The Discord server is an online platform that brings Morocco’s gaming community together, letting members chat, share content and stay connected to the latest news, events and initiatives shaping the industry’s future.
MGI said: “This platform aims to unite gamers, developers, content creators and entrepreneurs, providing a space for communication, inspiration and mutual support.”
Morocco’s gaming market is experiencing significant growth. According to Morocco World News, the industry generated approximately $500m in 2025 and is projected to reach over $840m by 2030, with an annual growth rate of 7.6 per cent. A young, digitally connected population, with more than 45 per cent under 25, is driving this expansion and fuelling growing interest in gaming and esports.

The Discord initiative complements other efforts in Morocco’s gaming sector, including ISART Talents Morocco Day, which showcases young game creators, and the Huawei Developer Competition 2025, highlighting local innovation.
Morocco is positioning itself as a regional leader in the African gaming industry. The 2025 Morocco Gaming Expo in Rabat attracted over 100 companies from France, Japan, South Korea and the United States, highlighting the country’s role in the global gaming sector. Additionally, Rabat Gaming City, a $26m investment, provides co-working spaces and production studios to support startups and foster innovation.
