Since its launch in 2009, the company has completed more than 500 initiatives that span education programs, youth sports sponsorships, small business training, public health awareness campaigns and support for local infrastructure.
The operator, which functions under a NASDAQ‑listed parent, Golden Matrix Group, emphasises the value of its long-term presence and active role in Tanzanian communities. It employs 200 staff members and maintains hundreds of retail partnerships, demonstrating a deep commitment to the local market.
Central to Meridianbet’s approach is its “community ambassadors” program, designed to empower customers to contribute directly to social initiatives and mentor local entrepreneurs.
