South Africa.- The Med Pearl Casino has been highlighted as a key feature in the onboard entertainment offering of the MSC Opera. The vessel operates cruise voyages from South Africa to destinations in Mozambique during the 2026 cruise season, as regional cruise tourism continues to attract travellers to short Indian Ocean sailings.
Located on deck six, the Med Pearl Casino spans approximately 460 square metres and can accommodate around 143 guests. The venue offers a range of casino games, including slot machines, roulette, blackjack and poker-style table games.
The casino was highlighted in a recent tourism report, which spotlighted the ship’s nightlife and entertainment venues, according to the Daily News. The report said that passengers can “Dance the night away at the Byblos Disco, indulge in a little friendly competition at the Med Pearl Casino or enjoy world-class performances at the Teatro dell’Opera theatre.”
MSC Opera operates short voyages from South Africa to destinations along the Mozambique coast, including Portuguese Island. These cruises typically last three to four days and form part of the Southern Africa cruise calendar.
