Mauritius set to host thrilling African Series of Poker National at Casino Ti Vegas
Africa’s top Poker talent set to battle in eight trophy tournaments and high-stakes action at Mauritius’ premier casino.
Mauritius.- Mauritius is set to become the epicentre of Africa’s high-stakes scene as Casino Ti Vegas prepares to host the African Series of Poker (ASOP) National 2025, featuring world-class competition.
The casino, a vibrant hotspot in the coastal village of Grand Baie, draws both locals and tourists with its lively atmosphere and wide array of games, from Blackjack and Sic Bo to Texas Hold’em Poker, electronic roulette, slot machines and high-stakes poker tournaments.
Organisers of the event said, according to L’Amateur de Poker: “The ASOP National will feature eight bracelet tournaments, as well as side events and cash games, catering to players of all levels. The main event kicks off on Thursday, September 25, with Day 1 sessions on Thursday and Friday, and culminates in the final on Sunday, September 28.”

Players will compete for prestigious poker bracelets, trophies that symbolise championship-level skill and achievement in poker (similar to winning a gold medal in sports), as seasoned professionals face off against ambitious amateurs.
But ASOP isn’t just about the cards. Organisers say that participants can “soak up Mauritius’s tropical beauty, from its sun-drenched beaches to luxurious resorts, while experiencing the island’s vibrant culture”.
The event underscores Mauritius’s growing prominence in Africa’s gambling landscape, combining elite poker action with the allure of a premier travel destination.
