LONASE to host African Lottery Association Assembly in Dakar
Industry experts, decision-makers and innovators are set to gather in Senegal for discussions on African lotteries.
Senegal.- Senegal’s National Lottery operator (LONASE) has announced that Dakar will host the General Assembly of the African Lottery Association (ALA).
The gathering will focus on innovation, strategic exchanges and technological solutions aimed at strengthening lottery operations across the continent. LONASE said: “Dakar becomes from April 21 to 27, 2026, the capital of African lotteries.”
According to the announcement, the event will bring together experts, decision-makers and innovators to exchange ideas and discuss the development of the African lottery sector.
The ALA is an organisation that brings together lottery operators and stakeholders from across Africa to promote cooperation and the sharing of industry knowledge.
LONASE operates as Senegal’s national lottery operator, managing the country’s official lottery and regulated betting activities. The lottery operator plays a significant role in Senegal’s gaming industry, offering national draws, scratch games and regulated betting products while contributing revenue to social and cultural initiatives.
