LONASE signs key deals to drive innovation at Senegal Lottery
Strategic partnerships aim to modernise operations, expand digital services and boost revenue for Senegal’s national lottery.
Senegal.- Senegal’s National Lottery (LONASE) has taken a major step to expand its gaming and betting operations through new technical partnership agreements. The move is part of a broader strategy focused on innovation, collaboration and national development.
The agreements involve three partner entities and are set to reshape the country’s lottery sector. LONASE’s said: “LONASE has signed technical partnership agreements with LONASE Way, LONASE Partner and LONASE 22 Bet this Wednesday, February 4. These agreements are part of a dynamic of assumed sovereignty, driven by innovation and the consolidation of strategic partnerships, for the interest of the Nation.”
While full details of each partner’s role will be released soon, LONASE 22 Bet is a licensed online betting platform operating under LONASE’s oversight in Senegal, allowing players to access sportsbook and casino games legally. The other two entities, LONASE Way and LONASE Partner, are expected to support the initiative, though their exact functions have not yet been disclosed.
This follows a recent collaboration when LONASE hosted Mauritius’ national lottery operator Lottotech to strengthen innovation and share expertise. The lottery continues to expand digital services through platforms like 22 Bet, while contributing significant revenue to public funds. In 2025, it reported strong results, contributing roughly CFA5bn (€7.62m) to national savings.
This initiative follows LONASE’s ongoing agenda to modernise operations and enhance oversight, ensuring that lottery and betting services remain secure, innovative and beneficial to the nation.
