Kaizen Gaming’s Betano goes live in Ghana
With the launch of Betano, Ghanaian players now have an additional licensed choice for sports betting and casino entertainment.
Ghana.- Kaizen Gaming has launched its Betano sportsbook and casino platform in Ghana, marking the company’s 20th regulated market worldwide and its first new market entry in 2026.
The launch was unveiled during an official event in Accra on February 5, with senior executives and Ghana Gaming Commission officials in attendance, including George Skarlatos, Director of Business Development at Betano; Daniel Lamberti, Senior Business Development Advisor; and Joseph Owusu Badu, Country Manager for Ghana. Emmanuel Siisi Quainoo, Acting Commissioner of the Ghana Gaming Commission, also attended to acknowledge the entry.
Skarlatos explained the reasoning behind the move: “Ghana is a market with strong long-term potential, an increasingly tech-oriented population and a clear commitment to building a structured and transparent regulatory environment.
“Through our strong local partnerships, and with responsibility fully embedded across our technology, processes and operations, we are fully aligned with Ghana’s regulatory framework to support a safe, well-functioning and trusted experience for all players from day one.”
Quainoo welcomed the operator, stating: “We welcome Betano’s entry into Ghana. Ensuring high standards are met by all operators is crucial in safeguarding player protection and maintaining market integrity. Kaizen Gaming and Betano show clear commitment to these principles, and we look forward to their continued cooperation and focus on upholding safe operations for all.”
With the launch of Betano, Ghanaian players now have an additional licensed choice for sports betting and casino entertainment. The company’s entry is expected to support local employment in areas such as customer service and technology while reinforcing regulatory standards.
Kaizen Gaming has positioned the launch as part of its long-term strategy to expand responsibly into markets with increasing online access, placing compliance and user protection at the centre of its approach.
