Jogabets migrates Mozambique betting operations to VeliTech platform
Jogabets strengthens digital betting infrastructure through VeliTech partnership as African market competition intensifies.
Mozambique.- Mozambique-licensed operator Jogabets has migrated its online betting operations to the platform infrastructure of VeliTech as part of efforts to strengthen its digital capabilities and support future growth in the regulated market.
VeliTech provides B2B igaming technology solutions spanning sportsbook, casino content, game aggregation and core betting infrastructure.
Darren Calvia, chief product officer at VeliTech, said: “Through the partnership, Jogabets will use the integrated VeliTech product suite, including the igaming core system with built-in CRM, sportsbook platform, game aggregation capabilities, and exclusive crash and instant games. This comprehensive setup gives Jogabets the foundation to streamline operations and support future growth in Mozambique and beyond.”

The move highlights growing demand for third-party technology providers as African betting operators invest in scalable platform infrastructure, payment integration and customer engagement tools across regulated igaming markets.
Jogabets operates sports betting, lottery and virtual gaming products across web, iOS and Android platforms in Mozambique’s regulated market. Jogabets said the platform transition is expected to support future product development and operational growth as competition continues to increase across the continent’s regulated betting sector.
Vasco Jafar, marketing manager at Jogabets, said: “This project reflects the VeliTech strength in delivering under real-market conditions, where reliability, local understanding and speed are not nice-to-haves, but the difference between disruption and growth.” Jafar added that the partnership was focused on innovation and performance, with the aim of strengthening customer engagement and supporting long-term growth in Mozambique’s betting market.
The companies said VeliTech had worked through complex local compliance and payment integration requirements tied to Jogabets’ African market operations, with the Mozambique launch delivering stable operational performance and positive early player engagement trends following the migration.
