Nigeria.- Nigeria’s Imo State Lotteries and Gaming Authority (IMLGA) has announced a partnership with Gamble Alert to deliver a two-day capacity-building programme focused on responsible gaming and player protection. The initiative, targeting the South-East and South-South regions, aims to equip regulators, operators and agents with practical tools to safeguard consumers in their daily interactions, moving beyond mere regulatory compliance and awareness campaigns.

The South-East & South-South Responsible Gaming Capacity Building Programme is scheduled for October 14 and 15, 2026 at Imo Digital City Limited in Owerri, Imo State.

Regulators, operators, gaming agents and affiliates are among those expected at the event. Other industry professionals who deal directly with players will also be involved.
