Ghana’s Soccabet unites physical and online betting in major hybrid launch
The Tier-1 operator integrates more than 200 retail outlets with digital platforms, creating a seamless betting experience and strengthening its market leadership in Ghana.
Ghana.- Ghana’s betting market is evolving as Soccabet connects its physical shops with digital platforms, allowing players to deposit, place bets and withdraw winnings across both retail terminals and online channels without losing continuity.
The rollout is powered by QTech Games’ Hybrid retail solution, which provides the technology and support enabling Soccabet’s nationwide network of outlets to operate efficiently alongside its digital platforms.
Imad Hawwach, Managing Director of Soccabet, said: “They understand that our customers expect the best gaming experience possible, and we believe that this unique Hybrid solution, which also features QTech’s high‑quality and diverse portfolio of games, will help us deliver just that across all channels.”
He explained how the system positions the company for the future and major events. “Their software, allied to a collaborative way of working, has now placed us in pole position to navigate the near‑future on both casino and sportsbook, at a consequential moment for the company as we prepare for the FIFA World Cup in June.”
The rollout is deployed across more than 200 outlets nationwide, creating a connected betting ecosystem that integrates retail and online platforms.
QTech Games emphasises its commitment to the African market and delivering value to players. Ekaterina Mayorova, QTech Games’ Head of Region for Africa, said: “It’s an honour to have been chosen by a brand as respected and recognisable as Soccabet to scale their retail operations across Ghana and also join them up with their significant online presence.”
Mayorova highlighted QTech’s focus on delivering locally relevant solutions that meet the needs of players and operators alike. “At QTech, we put a premium on understanding markets at a hyper‑local level, alongside bridging that gap between retail and online channels, to define a gateway to success in this nuanced betting ecosystem,” she said.
Transforming betting for players
The platform integrates the gaming lobby, retail management system and Agent Management System (AMS), allowing players to deposit funds, place bets and withdraw winnings across both physical and digital channels without losing continuity. It also runs on standard computers and tablets, lowering the barrier to scale and expansion.
QTech has highlighted the impact on players, noting how the system changes the gaming experience: “This system is already proving a game‑changer, revolutionising the gaming experience for our partners’ players,” added Mayorova
Founded in 2015, Soccabet is a Tier-1 operator and a top-three digital platform in Ghana, now strengthened as one of the country’s largest retail and digital betting operators. The rollout opens doors for cross-sell opportunities between sportsbook and casino offerings, meeting growing player demand and setting a new benchmark for betting in Africa.
