Tanzania.- The Gaming Board of Tanzania (GBT) has invited shortlisted candidates to attend interviews for various positions as part of its ongoing recruitment process.

In July, the board, in a bid to strengthen its regulatory capacity, advertised vacancies in key roles such as licensing, inspection, communication, ICT systems and internal audit. Following a review of applications, the selection committee has now shortlisted candidates to proceed to the next stage.

The interviews are set for December 4 and 5, and will be held at two venues: the Institute of Adult Education and Mhasibu House, both located along Bili Titi Mohamed Road. However, interview times vary depending on the roles applied for.

Shortlisted candidates for Inspection and Compliance Manager are scheduled for December 4 at 10:00am at Mhasibu House, while Communications Officer candidates will report to the same venue at 1:00pm on the same day. Accountants will be interviewed on December 5 at 10:00am at the Institute of Adult Education, and Risk Officer candidates will report to the same venue at 1:00pm.

The board advises candidates to visit the GBT website to view the official interview schedule, which will provide details on their names, assigned venues and reporting times. All candidates are also required to bring their original identification and academic certificates as specified by the board.
