Gabon.- Gabon’s state gaming operator, La Gabonaise des Jeux (GDJ), has brought its management committee together to strengthen alignment around the organisation’s strategic direction. The October 17 onboarding team-building session focused on establishing a common understanding of GDJ’s vision, identifying priorities and strengthening communication between leadership and their respective teams.
According to a GDJ statement, the session covered five themes: the organisation’s vision, understanding its mission, developing a common narrative, collectively mapping priorities and action points, and leadership and impactful communication.

The discussions strengthened the management team’s collective commitment to implementing GDJ’s vision. Each management member is expected to communicate that vision to their respective teams to support collaboration towards a shared objective, according to the statement. The organisation’s slogan states: “One vision, one team, one direction.”
This follows an announcement on September 23 where the GDJ outlined four strategic priorities: strengthening security across the gaming sector, protecting players, combating illegal practices and contributing to Gabon’s economic development.
