Egypt’s Sinai Grand Casino marks 25 years
Sinai Grand Casino is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2026, highlighting the role of tourism-focused casinos in Egypt’s gambling sector.
Egypt.- The Sinai Grand Casino is set to celebrate its 25th anniversary in Egypt in 2026, marking a milestone for one of the country’s longest-operating tourist casinos.
Located in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm El Sheikh, the venue has been part of the region’s hospitality and entertainment landscape since 2001. The milestone was highlighted in a statement shared on the casino’s corporate social media channels. “In 2026, we will proudly celebrate 25 years in Egypt,” the company said.
The venue offers a range of classic casino games including roulette, blackjack and poker, alongside slot machines and a dedicated poker room catering largely to international visitors staying in nearby resorts.
Casinos in Egypt operate under strict regulations, with gambling activities generally limited to foreign tourists. As a result, many venues are located in major tourism destinations such as Sharm El Sheikh, where they form part of the broader entertainment offering within resort complexes.
Industry data show the casino remains a notable operator within Egypt’s limited land-based casino market. Estimates indicate the venue generates around $14.4m in annual revenue.
As Sharm El Sheikh continues to position itself as a major international tourism hub, the anniversary of Sinai Grand Casino highlights the ongoing role of casino entertainment within the Red Sea resort’s tourism and leisure offering
