Egypt to host inaugural SPiCE Middle East 2026 as MENA gaming momentum accelerates

Eventus International’s flagship igaming conference series heads to Egypt amid rising regional interest in regulation, fintech and gaming investment.

Egypt.- Egypt is set to host the inaugural SPiCE Middle East 2026 on November 24-25, positioning the country as a key meeting point for gaming, betting and digital investment stakeholders across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

The event, scheduled to take place in Sharm El Sheikh, marks the latest expansion of the SPiCE Series – short for Strategic Platform for iGaming Conference and Exhibition – organised by Eventus International.

Bringing together operators, suppliers, regulators, affiliates, payment providers and investors, the conference is set to spotlight the rapid evolution of the MENA gaming sector as stakeholders increasingly explore regulated market opportunities across the region.

According to the official event description, SPiCE Middle East aims to provide “a strategic platform for industry stakeholders to discuss opportunities, challenges and advancements shaping the region’s gaming ecosystem.”

Eventus International described the conference as part of its broader push to connect stakeholders in emerging gaming jurisdictions and fast-growing digital economies. “What started in 2018 as SPiCE India has since transformed into an influential global series that celebrates opportunity and drives growth in gaming markets around the world,” the organiser stated on the official event page.

The company added: “The Middle East’s gaming market is transforming at a remarkable pace, and SPiCE Middle East arrives at a pivotal moment, poised to support and drive the industry’s next phase of growth.”

The conference will focus on regulation, payments, investment, innovation, compliance and responsible gaming, while also creating networking opportunities for regional and international stakeholders seeking a foothold in the evolving MENA market.

Egypt’s selection as host reflects the increasing importance of North Africa and the Gulf region in global gaming discussions, particularly as digital payments infrastructure and mobile connectivity continue expanding.

SPiCE-branded events have previously been held across Africa and Asia, covering sectors linked to sports betting, online gaming, payments technology, compliance, affiliate marketing and industry innovation.
