Operator named a Large Tax Contributor for the 2024/2025 financial year as Tanzania recognises businesses supporting national development through tax compliance.  

Tanzania.- Choplife Gaming Limited has received the Presidential Taxpayers’ Award from the Government of Tanzania after being recognised as a Large Tax Contributor for the 2024/2025 financial year.

The award was presented during Tanzania’s Presidential Taxpayer Awards on July 1, an annual programme recognising businesses for their contribution to national development through tax compliance. The honours span multiple sectors of the economy, with Choplife Gaming among the companies recognised this year.

Choplife said, according to The New Times: “This recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to operating with integrity, transparency, and full regulatory compliance in every market where we do business.”

Choplife Gaming operates across several African markets, offering sports betting, casino and virtual gaming products. The company added: “We believe sustainable growth starts with responsible corporate citizenship, and we remain committed to partnering with governments across Africa to build trusted, compliant, and long-term businesses.”

The latest recognition follows another tax honour for Choplife Gaming in Tanzania. The operator received the Overall Large Taxpayer Award for Tanzania’s Eastern Zone during the Tanzania Revenue Authority’s 2025 Taxpayers’ Appreciation Awards, recognising its contribution during the 2023/24 tax year.

This year’s Presidential Taxpayers’ Award formed part of the Tanzania Revenue Authority’s 30th anniversary celebrations, recognising businesses for strong tax compliance and their contribution to Tanzania’s economic development.
