Burkina Faso’s National Lottery to end 2025 with five jackpots worth FCFA300m

The National Lottery will offer four  FCFA50m jackpots and a grand FCFA100m  prize in December, giving players multiple opportunities to win during the festive season.

Burkina Faso.- Burkina Faso’s National Lottery (LONAB) has announced a series of five PMU’B jackpots totaling FCFA300m (€457,000) as part of its 2025 year-end draws.

The promotion, running from November through December, includes “four jackpots of FCFA50m (€76,000) and a final FCFA100m (€152,000) jackpot on December 28, offering multiple opportunities for players to win during the festive season”, according to LONAB.

PMU’B, LONAB’s urban lottery-betting game, allows players to select numbers in a “4+1” format, with winnings determined by whether numbers are matched in the correct order or any order. The game has grown in popularity by combining moderate-stake bets with the potential for substantial jackpots.

Jackpots, responsibility, community

The four jackpots are scheduled for November 21, November 30, December 5 and December 19. The grand jackpot on December 28 will be split into FCFA75m (€114,000) for winners matching the numbers in the correct order and FCFA25m (€38,000) for those matching in any order.

Beyond the jackpots, LONAB contributes to Burkina Faso’s broader development. Its slogan, “Prizes for winners, profits for Burkina Faso”, reflects the social and economic role of the lottery, with past winners receiving payouts in the millions, demonstrating tangible community impact.

While offering significant prizes, LONAB continues to promote responsible play, reminding participants that “games of chance are reserved for adults”. The 2025 year-end jackpot campaign provides excitement, opportunity and community engagement, showing how regulated gambling can entertain while supporting national initiatives.
