The hosting aligns with GA’s commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and community development, which includes supporting initiatives aimed at skills training and vocational development.

The Authority’s commitment to community development goes far beyond hosting events like the graduation. The Authority also partnered with licensed operators, including BetXplosion, to direct part of their revenue toward youth, education, sports and health projects in 2025.

The GA also rolled out the nationwide Motshameko O Phepha campaign, reaching communities across Botswana with educational resources, a 24-hour toll-free helpline and tools to promote responsible gambling. These initiatives showcase GA’s active investment in social welfare and public education, proving it is more than just a gambling regulator.
