betPawa earns NNL praise following season-long football investment
NNL commends betPawa and partners after acknowledging their contribution to a successful 2025/26 season supported by the Locker Room Bonus programme.
Nigeria.- The Nigeria National League (NNL) has commended sports betting operator betPawa and other commercial partners for their contribution to the successful delivery of the 2025/26 season. betPawa has distributed more than NGN295m (US$216,000) through its Locker Room Bonus initiative, which rewarded players and technical staff across the campaign.
The recognition was contained in a statement released following an NNL board meeting held at the auditorium of Beyond Limits FC in Ikenne, Ogun State. According to the statement, the board expressed appreciation to betPawa, Toptier Sports Management (TSM), Prostar International and Sportslight Hub for their roles during the season.
“The board commended and appreciated the support of betPawa, Toptier Sports Management (TSM), Prostar International and Sportslight Hub for contributing to the success of the season,” the statement reads, as reported in Leadership.
The Locker Room Bonus initiative rewarded players directly for match-winning performances throughout the NNL season and formed part of betPawa’s season-long investment in Nigerian football. betPawa said the Locker Room Bonus programme reflects its commitment to rewarding players on the pitch and contributing to the development of Nigerian football.
The NNL has previously also acknowledged the support of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in the development and organisation of the league, alongside its wider partnerships with commercial stakeholders.
