BantuBet supports African culture through Angola freestyle rap competition
Angola’s BantuBet participated in the Season 12 awards gala of a leading freestyle rap platform celebrating emerging and established hip-hop talent.
Angola.- Angola’s BantuBet participated in the awards gala for the 12th season of Kings of Disruption. The freestyle rap competition showcases emerging and established artists from Angola’s hip-hop scene and highlights the betting operator’s engagement with African culture and youth-driven creative initiatives.
The ceremony took place at ZAP Cinemas Avennida Shopping in Luanda, where artists, organisers and supporters gathered to recognise performers across eight award categories. Often described as “gladiators” of Angolan freestyle, the competition has become an important platform within the country’s hip-hop community.
BantuBet said: “We are proud to support this project that values emerging and established artists and contributes to strengthening Angola’s cultural movement while creating opportunities for young talent.”
The betting company also presented prize money to winners during the ceremony, recognising standout performances from the competition’s freestyle artists.
The project was conceived and is led by Angolan hip-hop figure Fly Skuad, whose vision has helped create opportunities for young artists while strengthening Angola’s cultural movement.
During the gala, organisers also introduced plans for the competition’s upcoming 13th season, unveiling new initiatives aimed at expanding opportunities for artists and reinforcing the platform’s role within Angola’s creative landscape.
