Morocco.- The Morocco Gaming Expo 2026 will bring together leading industry game developers, publishers, startups, investors and international participants to showcase the country’s growing gaming sector.

The third edition of the event is scheduled to run from 20–24 May 2026 in Rabat, offering five days of exhibitions, forums, esports competitions and business networking designed to strengthen Morocco’s position as a hub for gaming and digital creativity.

Organised by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, the Expo has quickly become the foremost gaming industry gathering in Morocco. It will feature dedicated exhibition zones, expert panels, masterclasses and space for developers to demo games and connect with international stakeholders.

The Ministry said in a statement: “Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication is organising the third edition of the Morocco Gaming Expo 2026, aimed at reinforcing Morocco’s position as a regional and continental hub for the gaming industry, digital innovation and the cultural and creative sectors.”

The Expo is set to be a launchpad for Morocco’s gaming ecosystem. Through initiatives like the Video Game Incubator Program and partnerships with technology companies, local studios gain access to mentorship, infrastructure and international exposure, giving homegrown talent the tools to compete globally.

This edition emphasises Moroccan talent, highlighting the creativity and technical skill emerging from the country’s game developers, from indie studios to esports competitors.

Officials say the Expo will not only spotlight Morocco’s gaming potential but also attract international investment and collaboration, positioning the kingdom as a leading player in Africa’s digital entertainment landscape.

With the gaming industry booming across Africa, Morocco is set to solidify its place on the global gaming map at the Morocco Gaming Expo 2026.
