South Africa.- 10bet South Africa has appointed top horse racing trainer Adam Marcus as its official horse racing ambassador.

Marcus is part of a new generation of talented South African trainers, building on the international reputation established by his father, Basil Marcus. He launched his training career in 2012 in Cape Town and has enjoyed considerable success, with a string of Grade 1 and Grade 2 victories.

Marcus experienced his first significant career milestone in 2024 when he achieved a Grade 1 win with Mississippi Burning in the Cape Fillies Guineas. Soon after, he had his Grade 2 victory with Vardy in the Green Point Stakes.

Prior to the breakthroughs, Marcus has also enjoyed successes with horses like Royal Badge, which triumphed in the Cape Summer Stayers Handicap.

As the new face of 10bet’s horse racing service, Marcus will promote the platform’s features, including competitive odds, attractive bonuses, and a user-friendly interface. He will also share his expert opinions and verdicts on big upcoming races.

With this new partnership, 10bet aims to attract more horse racing punters and solidify its foothold in the South African betting market.

The deal will also boost awareness for 10bet’s newly launched horse racing platform, which allows users to bet on a wide range of horse racing events, such as the Durban July and the Cheltenham Festival.

Michelle Colborne, 10bet’s SA Marketing VP, said: “Horse racing has always held a special place in South African sport, and we are proud to be strengthening our presence in this space through the expertise of Adam Marcus. Our goal is to deliver a world-class betting experience that is both accessible and exciting for fans nationwide.”
