Adelaide Casino unveils millionaire expansion

After the announcement of a new hotel, the casino revealed that the expansion will include VIP gaming areas.

Australia.- SkyCity has announced that the Adelaide Casino will go through a US$330 million expansion. The transformation is set to include a new 123-room hotel, as well as VIP gaming areas, new restaurants and bars.

The company revealed that the project is backed up by the state government as the final stage of the Riverbank Precinct upgrade, which is proof that South Australia’s tourism sector is developing, as 9news.com.au reported. Luke Walker, general manager of Adelaide Casino, said: “This development will transform Adelaide Casino into a truly integrated entertainment precinct for international, interstate and local visitors.” Approximately 1000 jobs are expected to be created during the construction process, as well as 800 more jobs once the facility is complete, estimated in 2020.

Last year, the operator revealed that among the early works there will be modifications to Festival Drive, grade leveling, temporary pedestrian access and signage, structural piling, modifications to loading docks and relocation of existing services.
