Regulatory meet-ups: Market-specific networking

This year, the organisers of SBC Summit Lisbon have revamped their approach to networking for their SBC Summit attendees.

Rather than leaving networking to chance, we’ve introduced five new structured formats to help our attendees meet the right people for their problems and find more opportunities.

One of these new formats is SBC’s Regulatory Gaming Meet-Ups, brought to attendees in collaboration with International Masters of Gaming Law and International Association of Gaming Regulators.

The competition sees five carefully selected startups take to the Global Innovation Showcase stage, where they’ll pitch their products live to a panel of leading industry executives, investors, and decision-makers.

With a prize package worth approximately €80,000, including investment opportunities and industry exposure, First Pitch offers ambitious startups a unique platform to accelerate their growth and make their mark on the global gaming industry.

Last year’s competition was won by Warsaw-based startup (@) AI Stats, a company that leverages AI and computer vision to deliver real-time football analytics and live-score data to sportsbooks.

Festival Square: A place to relax away from the show floor

Need a break from the show floor?

New for SBC Summit 2026, Festival Square transforms the outdoor space at FIL into a festival-style social hub — a place to relax, recharge, and pick up where the last meeting left off.

With a Beer Garden, Cocktail Bar, Wine Bar, Piano Bar, and Shisha Lounge on offer, there’s something for everyone. The Square will be open until 20:00 on Tuesday and Wednesday, and 17:00 on Thursday, making it the perfect spot to unwind before our evening networking events.
