Scientic Games to open Polish centre
Scientific Games has decided to open a facility in Krakow to strengthen its position after launching its SG Digital division.
Poland.- In order to support its new SG Digital division, Scientific Games is to open a remote development centre in the Polish capital of Krakow. The centre is due to open towards the end of the first quarter of 2017 and will operate with a team of more than 100 staff members.
SG Digital will now look to recruit staff for various key roles, including quality assurance, core software development, and product innovation. The centre will become SG Digital’s fourth major development hub in Europe, complementing existing facilities in London, England, Athens in Greece, and the Swedish capital of Stockholm.
“Opening the new Krakow centre underlines our commitment to continuously boost our best-in-class offering,” said Chris Armes, chief technology officer at SG Digital, adding: “This location will be directly aligned with our other European technology hubs and form a great asset for the SG Digital business unit.”
