Three Czech casinos are among the first in Europe to set a date to reopen, including the King’s Resort Rozvadov.

Czech Republic.- Three Czech casinos are to reopen their poker rooms on May 11. as the country emerges from Covid-19 lockdown measures.

This includes the casino with the largest poker room in Europe: King’s Resort Rozvadov.

The Czech casinos will be among the first in Europe to reopen following Covid-19 pandemic.

The King’s Resort Rozvadov and two other casinos in the King’s Casino group, the Admiral Casino, also in Rozvadov, and King’s Casino Prague, will reopen their poker rooms on the same date.

The casinos said that live games including roulette and blackjack would be available as well as slots.

ournaments will not be held for now, but the casino said on its Facebook page that it hoped to begin them soon.

The casinos said in the post that: “Highest hygiene standards will be implemented, such as hand sanitisers for the guests and frequent disinfection of all areas.”

Other casinos in the Czech Republic, including the American Chance Casinos, have said they hope to reopen when hotels are allowed to reopen on May 25. Casinos have been shut since March 13.

King’s Resort Rozvadov is still expected to host the World Series of Poker Europe in autumn.

The casino has hosted the event at its 160-table poker room since 2017. It has a deal to host until at least 2021, but the exact date for this year has yet to be announced.

The casino began taking measures to protect against coronavirus by turning away Italian customers in early March.
