Airport casino to be considered in Connecticut

The Connecticut Airport Authority board is discussing the possibility to develop a casino near an airport in its state.

US.- The Connecticut Airport Authority board is considering a proposal for a casino near Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks.

According to the board’s agenda, the members will be discussing a negotiating strategy for potential development of a casino.

Officials from Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos have been receiving proposals from several towns willing to host a US$300 million gambling facility that would house slots, table games, restaurants and bars. The Connecticut Airport Authority has also shown interest in having a casino at Bradley Airport.
