Russia welcomes new casino

The upcoming Russian gaming hub of Yantarnaya inaugurates its first casino.

Russia.- Sobranie casino opened its doors last week setting the path for further gambling projects in the approved Russian zone of Yantarnaya. Although the entertainment venue is not finished yet, operators announced the inauguration of the first casino in the upcoming gaming hub.

Players have been able to enjoy the modern Sobranie casino 24 hours a day since last week, when the Yantarnaya centre opened its doors under “technical mode” until the decoration work is completed during the next few weeks. Although Sobranie is the first exclusive casino of the zone, Magic Crystal, which began its operations in April 2016, also offers slot machine games.

Yantarnaya is set to be one of the biggest and newest Russian gambling hubs, along with Sochi, by 2029. The city expects the investment of a total of US$725 million on the construction of “15 casinos, 21 hotels, a water park, a theatre, stadiums, concert halls, SPA salons and shops,” according to AGBrief report.
