Rivers Casino appoints new general manager

Rob Long has been named the new general manager of the New York gambling facility.

US.- Rush Street Gaming has revealed that Rob Long has been appointed as the new general manager of Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady, effective immediately. The new manager is the former president and CEO of Bally’s and Resorts casinos in Tunica, Mississippi.

As the company said, Long has been in the industry for quite some time now, as he has established new properties in emerging gaming markets, and has led several developments through construction, opening and early operations. Moreover, Long also helped break ground evelopments of Rainbow Casino and Riverwalk Casino Hotel, both in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Riverwalk was Rush Street’s first U.S. casino development.

Greg Carlin, CEO of Rush Street Gaming, said: “Rob is an exceptional individual, with a well-established track record of running top-performing casinos all over the country. We are thrilled to have him back at Rush Street as the general manager of Rivers Casino and Resort Schenectady.”
