Paradise Co records casino revenue increase

South Korean operator Paradise Co Ltd recorded a 3.9 percent year-on-year increase in its November casino revenue.

South Korea.- Paradise Co Ltd, South Koreas foreigrner-only casino operator, recorded an increase of 3.9 percent in casino revenue after reaching US$50.6 million, 2.1 more than last year’s US$48.5 million.

The operator saw revenue increases both in the table and the machine segment. The first went from US$46.1 million to US$47.2 million, increasing a 2.2 per cent, while machine revenue jumped 36.8 percent from last year’s US2.33 million and reached nearly US$3.2 million.

However, the company’s aggregate casino revenue was down 9.1 percent to US$467.7 million for the first 11 months of 2017, as well as its table revenue, which dropped 9.9 percent year-on-year. Machine revenue, on the other hand, was up 3.7 per cent to US$31.1 million and table drop jumped 5.2 percent to US$4.2 billion.

Paradise Co operates four casinos in South Korea, located in Seoul, Jeju Island, Busan and Incheon (just by the international airport near the capital city).
