Operator to invest in Dudley

A casino from Dudley would be relocated to develop a bingo hall, as an operator revealed this week.

UK.- Director at Casino 36, Adrian Ballard, announced that the company is planning to invest more than £12 million in a venue in Dudley. The upcoming project is set to create up to 75 more jobs.

“Dudley has, in my eye, always been a leading market town. The plans to move the area forward are admirable, and something I am keen to be involved in. I feel the opportunities our new site will provide will complement these plans and be an additional vehicle to bring much needed tourism back to the borough,” said the director. The casino launched its operations in November 2016, as Insider Media revealed, and created approximately 100 jobs at the Lower Temple Street site.

The plan is to relocate the existing casino on Castle Hill and create a new bingo hall in order to increase footfall in the area. The new facility is expected to open sometime during 2018.
