New casino for Schenectady
After a year of construction, the new Schenectady casino will open its doors.
US.- The city of Schenectady, located in New York State, will inaugurate its Rivers Casino & Resort on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, according to an official report by the general manager of operators Galesi Group, Mary Cheeks. The new gaming venue in the State has been under construction since February 2016.
As the general manager revealed, during the following weeks the company will announce further details and special promotions for the first bookers. Rivers Casino & Resort will boost the regional tourism and entertainment industry with major events, a steak house restaurant, a luxury hotel rooms and, of course, a large gaming floor.
The new casino will also offer an entertainment lounge, a market place and a day spa. Visitors will be able to enjoy hundreds of cutting-edge slot machines with exclusive promotions during the first days of the opening. “This is not about a Casino. This is about a regional asset. This is one of the largest mix use developments going on in Upstate New York, actually New York State as a whole. It’s about a lifestyle. A place where people can eat, live, gamble, sleep, play and work and boat,” added chief operating officer of Galesi Group David Buicko.
